Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication, also known by the brand name Stromectol. It works by binding to specific channels in the nerve and muscle cells of parasites, causing paralysis and death of the parasite. In the U.S., oral ivermectin is FDA-approved to treat intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis (river blindness). Intestinal strongyloidiasis (Strongyloides stercoralis infection)
Onchocerciasis (river blindness, Onchocerca volvulus infection)

Ivermectin 30mg Dosage
Strongyloidiasis: 200 mcg/kg by mouth as a single dose on an empty stomach with water.
Onchocerciasis: 150 mcg/kg by mouth as a single dose; may be repeated every 3 to 12 months as directed.
