Nicotine Patch 7mg/24HR Dosage
Apply 1 patch (7mg/24HR) to clean, dry, hairless skin once daily; wear for 24 hours, then remove and apply a new patch to a different site.
Smokers of 10 or fewer cigarettes/day: start with 14mg/24HR for 6 weeks, then 7mg/24HR for 2 weeks.
Smokers of more than 10 cigarettes/day: use 7mg/24HR as the final step (weeks 9–10) of the 21mg ? 14mg ? 7mg step-down program.
