What Is Benazepril 20mg?
Benazepril (brand name Lotensin) is a prescription tablet in a class of medications called ACE inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily, which lowers blood pressure. Benazepril is FDA-approved to treat hypertension in adults and in children 6 years and older, and it may be used alone or together with other blood pressure medicines, such as amlodipine or thiazide diuretics. It is typically taken once or twice daily as directed by your provider.
