What Is Cholestyramine 4g?
Cholestyramine is a prescription powder that belongs to a class of medications called bile acid sequestrants. It is also used to relieve itching caused by partial biliary obstruction, a condition where bile acids build up in the body. Cholestyramine is not absorbed into the bloodstream and is taken by mixing the powder with water or another liquid.
