Enalapril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor sold under the brand name Vasotec. Doctors prescribe enalapril for hypertension, symptomatic heart failure, and asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction. The 20mg tablet is a common maintenance strength taken once or twice daily as directed by your provider.
