What Is Lisinopril 10mg?
Lisinopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor available under the brand names Prinivil and Zestril. It works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart. It is commonly prescribed alone or alongside other medicines — for example, some patients take lisinopril and amlodipine together when one drug alone does not control blood pressure. Lisinopril is a prescription-only tablet taken once daily.
What Does Lisinopril 10mg Treat?
High blood pressure (hypertension) in adults
High blood pressure in children 6 years and older
Heart failure, as add-on therapy
Improving survival after a heart attack (acute myocardial infarction)
Lisinopril 10mg Dosage
