What Is Terasozin 10mg HCL?
Terasozin HCL is the generic form of Hytrin, an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker taken as an oral capsule. It relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder neck, which can improve urine flow and reduce BPH symptoms such as hesitancy, weak stream, and nighttime urination. It also relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure in people with hypertension. It manages symptoms but does not shrink the prostate or cure either condition.
What Does Terasozin 10mg HCL Treat?
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate)
Urinary hesitancy and weak stream from BPH
Frequent or nighttime urination from BPH
High blood pressure (hypertension)
Hypertension, alone or with other blood pressure medicines
