What Is Levothyroxine 88mcg?
Levothyroxine is a man-made version of thyroxine (T4), a hormone normally produced by the thyroid gland. When the thyroid does not make enough hormone — a condition called hypothyroidism — levothyroxine restores normal hormone levels, helping regulate energy, metabolism, and body temperature.
