What Is Liothyronine 50mcg?
Liothyronine is a man-made version of triiodothyronine (T3), one of the hormones naturally produced by the thyroid gland. Liothyronine replaces missing thyroid hormone to restore normal levels and relieve symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, and cold intolerance. It is available by prescription only, and the brand-name version is Cytomel.
