What Is Rabeprazole 20mg?
Rabeprazole is a prescription proton pump inhibitor (PPI) sold under the brand name Aciphex. It works by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining, lowering the amount of acid your stomach makes. Less acid allows damaged tissue in the esophagus and stomach to heal and helps relieve symptoms like heartburn. Rabeprazole is taken as a delayed-release tablet, usually once daily.
