What Is Glipizide 10mg?
Glipizide is an oral prescription medication in the sulfonylurea class, sold under the brand name Glucotrol. It helps control high blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes by prompting the pancreas to release more insulin. Glipizide is used together with diet and exercise, and may be combined with other diabetes medications when needed. It is not used to treat type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

Use caution with beta-blockers, which may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia
